Darwin’s Chair by Stefan Sagmeister, presented last week at Design Miami / Basel, we had not spoken, but it is a creation that deserves to be seen.
The concept behind this unique chair is very modern and meets the increasingly diverse needs of today: customizing is the key word, a customization that has to go beyond the serial, but is the foundation of every day production.
So Darwin Chair proposes a solution to make this chair unique for every occasion and different every time you want, while also addressing the concepts of adaptability and transformability.
Over 200 are sheets that are, each with a different print, to show off and change at any moment with a few gestures. A chair to say the least versatile, malleable according to the environment that surrounds it and can certainly meet any aesthetic need.
