Choosing A Kitchen Bin
You wouldn’t think there was a whole lot of thought needed in choosing a kitchen bin. Or that there would be that much to choose from. But when you’ve spent thousands on decorating the kitchen these finishing touches are very important. And it was looking for a suitable kitchen bin that I came across the range of Brabantia Bins.
Brabantia Bins have a sort of space age look and feel to them. They are manufactured from high quality materials and coated with attractive, hard-wearing finishes. The company itself began in 1919 with 15 people and a small factory in the Dutch town of Aalst. It was a traditional, family owned business, run by engineers and craftsmen and right from the start, good, professional workmanship has been the driving force behind their approach.
Brabantia have employed the latest advances in technology in the design of their bins. Take the Touch Bin for instance. A light touch on the lid and the lid opens smoothly and silently. Even better is the Sensor bin. You don’t even need to touch the lid. This bin has an in-built sensor which will automatically open the lid when you hold your hand over it. It’s almost fun to throw the rubbish out.
Brabantia have also looked at the environmental issues associated with waste disposal. The Twin Bin has two bins in one, one bin for the normal kitchen waste and another for the organic waste that can be reused in composts. Perfect for the gardeners out there.
